Project title:ERP of Lovely Group
Introduction: Software receives minimum input and gives maximum output in different angle, which undoubtedly helps the organization in critical decision making, and increase the growth and profit of the organization rapidly. The top management of Lovely Group feels the importance of Software and they are trying to implement ERP software since few years. But they are failure to implement it. We are the second company for developing software for them. We offer them to develop software for their each company individually. Because if we wants to implement ERP Software for whole Group then it will difficult. After implementing software to the entire sister company separately finally we will integrate all the software together. That will be ERP of Lovely Group.
Main outputs: First we start from Accounts module of Lovely Asset Development Ltd. It is a sister company of Lovely Group. By first seating they confirm us the work order of Accounts, Inventory and Pay Roll of Lovely Asset development Ltd. In this meeting we present the demo of Accounts & Inventory that’s already running to other similar client of us. In this time they view random report from previous entry. After viewing and testing by their test data they are satisfied.
Head of Accounts of Lovely Group design a requirement guideline / working manual for lovely group. He wants to integrate his idea with this project and we think that is helpful for us because user requirement gathering will be easy for this manual.
Why did the previous software fail?
Do you use prototypes for finding out what client actually wants?
Answer: ü Because they want to develop the total ERP project at a time and they are not experienced in this field. ü We don’t need to make new prototype for this project because we have already developed similar types of software for another company. We’ll show it to them as a prototype.
Input: They have no current running software so we collect all the necessary information from their manual document and through conversation with concern people.
User: As it is a group of companies there are many users who will use the software such as Accounts officer, Inventory officer.
Geographical Area: First it starts from head office of Lovely Group which is located in Dhaka. Then it’ll also run in several factory of Lovely Group which is located in Narayanganj and Gazipur.
Why important for the client: A group of company has a huge volume of information to handle. To handle this information manually is difficult and possible to have occurred error. So a successful implementation of this software is very necessary for them.

Introduction: We visit the head office for observe their daily manual work. Head of Accounts of Lovely Group design a requirement guideline / working manual. We discuss about the module and requirement guideline. We decide to divide the whole group into several companies. Now we develop inventory, payroll, consumption analysis and account software separately for each company. Finally we combine the all software as ERP software.
Tools and Techniques: Software Design, Development & Implement with VB6, Database Management with MS SQL Server 2000 and Reporting with Crystal Report 8.5.
Step by step procedure for our work: v Developing software for individual company. For each company we will develop four sections- develop inventory, payroll, consumption analysis and account section. v After developed each module we submit it then start trail running. v Inputs are taken by employee of concern departments in a central database. v Then we check the reports. If there is any error we will solve the error. v When the trial running of all section will completely finish we will combine them in ERP software.
